1) If you become a mother for the first time, an assistance amount of ₹ 5000 will be given.
2) On becoming a mother for the second time, if the daughter gives birth, then the government will provide assistance of Rs 6000.
3) An assistance of Rs 11000 is provided under the Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana.
4) First installment ₹ 1000 - Gets registered in Pradhan Mantri Vandana Yojana at the nearest Anganwadi Center or Community Health Center.
5) Second installment ₹ 2000 - is given to the pregnant woman after at least one antenatal checkup after 6 months of pregnancy.
6) Third installment of ₹ 2000 - is given after the birth of the child.

1) This scheme was started to provide assistance to women from economically weaker sections.
2) Through this scheme, an assistance amount of Rs 11000 is given to pregnant women in different installments.
3) The assistance amount given under this scheme is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary.
4) The benefits of this scheme are given to women only after giving birth to the first living child.
5) Only women who give birth in a government hospital will be benefited under the election.
